5th Annual Southwick Farm Parade
The Southwick Agricultural Commission was part of the Farm Parade on October 28th, 2023. Not only did we have a vintage tractor, we had a vintage tractor trailer representing us, too! Ag. Comm. volunteer Alex Prifti, his 1986 Peterbilt 359 truck and a vintage Blue Ford farm tractor made up the Ag. Comm. float in the parade. Alex’s homestead in Southwick is a former dairy farm that operated until the late 1980’s and was one of many farms in town that provided milk to Pioneer Dairy. Today, their farm produces hay and works with other local farmers.

5th Annual Southwick Trunk-or-Treat
The Southwick Agricultural Commission was part of the Trunk-or-Treat event on October 28th, 2023. Our trunk at the event gave out candy to trick-or-treaters and promoted the Commission's work in bringing awareness of our agricultural heritage.
